Global Youth Awards 2025 – Nominee FAQ
Congratulations on your nomination for the Global Youth Awards 2025! Below are answers to some frequently asked questions to help you feel informed and supported throughout the process.
Nomination and Selection
Q: I’ve been nominated, does that mean I’ve won?
A: Not yet. Being nominated is a huge achievement in itself, and finalists and winners will be selected and announced closer to the event.
Q: When will I know if I’ve been shortlisted as a finalist?
A: Shortlisting will take place later in the year. If you are selected as a finalist, we will contact you by email.
Q: Can I find out who nominated me?
A: We only have the names of nominees, not nominators. However, we can assure you that your work made a strong impression.
Attending the Awards
Q: Do I have to attend the event in person to win?
A: No. Attendance is not required to win. If you are a winner and unable to attend, we will invite you to send a short acceptance video, and we will post your certificate and award.
Q: Will there be a livestream?
A: Yes. The Global Youth Awards 2025 will be livestreamed so you can join from anywhere.
Q: Will travel, visa, or accommodation costs be covered?
A: Unfortunately, we are not able to cover these costs. Some nominees have been successful in securing sponsorship through schools, local organisations, or community support.
Q: Can I get a visa invitation letter?
A: Yes. If you are shortlisted and planning to attend in person, we are happy to provide an invitation letter to support your visa application. Please email erin@legacyprojectglobal.com.
Tickets and Registration
Q: Where do I register for the event?
A: You can register for free here, whether attending in person or online:

Certificates and Awards
Q: Will I get a certificate for being nominated?
A: We issue certificates to finalists and winners.
Q: What do winners receive?
A: Winners receive a certificate and a trophy. If you are unable to attend in person, we will arrange to send your award after the ceremony.
After the Awards
Q: What happens after the event?
A: Winners are invited to become Global Change Ambassadors. This comes with access to our network of events, collaborations, mentoring and training opportunities. Many past winners have also returned to help host, perform, or judge future events.

Q: Can I share the news of my nomination publicly?
