Greenwich Peninsula Summer Youth Club

We are thrilled to bring back the Greenwich Peninsula Youth Club this summer!

Throughout August, a series of brilliant charities will be bringing you free weekly workshops to engage and inspire! Curated for Greenwich Peninsula residents aged between 5-18 years old, the sessions offer something for everyone.

Simply, pick your workshops and book your free sessions!

Workshops include: 

  • Double Decker Music Bus – Make your own music and learn about music production, song writing, podcasting with Young Urban Arts Foundation.  

  • Engineering Minds - Lego robotics using LEGO bricks, learning to work with Bluetooth Smart hubs, motors, motion and tilt sensors that allows attendees to program robots and get them to execute different tasks.

  • Blast Off with Artis Foundation - Step into a world of imagination and adventure with Blast Off!, a performing arts workshop where children journey through space using movement, music, and drama.

  • Aircraft Circus Academy- try something fun, positive, uplifting and inspiring to boost confidence and give some lasting memories with mixed circus skills.

  • Beginners Nature Photography - Diversifying and improving access to photography careers through education, building creative connections and sharing knowledge.

  • YUAF Broadcasting - This workshop will empower young people with the skills to plan, record, and produce their podcast episodes in a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment

  • KICK Football – Football coaching that is inclusive and accessible, mixed with traditional sports as well as one-to-one mentoring.  

  • Side Hustle with D.I.C.E - Empowering participants to identify and create a Side Hustle based on their hobbies, passions,

    interests, and skills.

  • D.I.C.E Paint & Chill –  Inspiring young people to tap into their creative skills through art, drawing, or illustration—while encouraging them to explore something new for their well-being.

  • Gang Culture with Love Da Beat -   educating and supporting young individuals on topics such as knife crime, general crime, prevention, coercion, and manipulation.

  • Grounded Breakdancing – Social dances such as old school HipHop, Soul train and disco, funk style, Lindy Hop/traditional Jazz including some partner party dances. Fun and energetic experience that allows participants to be creative and add their own flavour!
